Working principle of Yongte Conical Twin Screw Extruder Machine

• The screw rotates to push the material: the two conical screws rotate in the same direction in the barrel, so that the material moves along the axial direction of the screw under the push of the screw. At the same time, due to the conical structure of the screw, the material will also be subjected to radial extrusion force during the movement.
• Shearing and mixing effect: During the rotation of the screw, the material will be sheared by the screw thread, which will crush, disperse and mix the material to make the plasticization of the material more uniform. In addition, different parts of the screw are designed with different thread structures and parameters, which further enhances the shearing and mixing effects on the material.
• Heating and cooling control: The barrel is usually equipped with a cast aluminum heater to heat the material to the required plasticizing temperature. At the same time, in order to accurately control the temperature, a cooling fan or oil cooling system is also configured to prevent overheating of the material and ensure a stable plasticizing process.

Structural composition

Transmission part:

Extrusion part

1. Feeding device: Generally equipped with a high-precision, wide speed regulation, and forced quantitative feeding system, which can accurately control the amount of material added according to production needs and ensure the stability of the extrusion process.
2. crew: It is the core component of the conical twin-screw extruder. Its diameter gradually decreases from the feed end to the discharge end, and the depth of the screw groove also changes accordingly. It has a large feeding amount and a long material residence time, which is conducive to the plasticization and extrusion of the material.
3. Barrel: It is used to accommodate the screw and the material. The flow channel of the material is formed between the inner wall of the barrel and the screw. The barrel is equipped with a heating and cooling device to control the temperature of the material.
4. Heating and cooling system: including cast aluminum heater, cooling fan or oil cooling system, etc., which are precisely controlled by intelligent dual-display digital temperature controller to plasticize and extrude materials within the appropriate temperature range with small temperature fluctuations.
5. Vacuum exhaust device: It can remove moisture, volatiles and air from the material, improve the quality of the product, and reduce defects such as bubbles and silver streaks.
