What raw material formula can our PVC pipe machine process?
The PVC pipe extrusion machine mainly processes rigid UPVC formulas (SG5 / K65–K67 PVC resin, phr = parts per hundred resin). Our PVC pipe machine is compatible with a wide range of PVC-based raw material formulations, designed to meet the diverse production needs of different pipe specifications and application scenarios. The standard processing formula is centered on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin as the base material, with matching processing aids added to optimize extrusion performance and final product quality.
Depending on specific product requirements, we can also process modified formulas. For example, adding impact modifiers (such as CPE, ACR, or MBS) can significantly improve the low-temperature impact resistance of pipes, making them suitable for cold-region installation environments. For flame-retardant or anti-static pipes used in mining or special industrial scenarios, corresponding functional additives can be incorporated into the formula while ensuring compatibility with the machine’s extrusion and calibration systems.
Additionally, our equipment can handle both virgin PVC compound and properly formulated recycled PVC blends, as long as the impurity content and particle size of the recycled material are controlled within the range suitable for stable extrusion. The exact formula adjustment is usually tailored to the desired pipe diameter, wall thickness, pressure rating, and relevant industry standards, and our technical team can provide formula optimization support to help customers achieve ideal production efficiency and product performance.
Note: Formulas different for pressure water pipe, drainage pipe, electrical conduit, CPVC. Twin-screw PVC pipe lines are standard for these dry-blend formulations. below are some formulas for reference.
