Yongte Launches Innovative WPC Decking Machine Converting Waste Clothes into Eco-Friendly Building Materials

Leading WPC (Wood-Plastic Composite) equipment manufacturer Yongte has officially unveiled its groundbreaking WPC decking production line that integrates waste textiles as core raw materials, addressing the global challenge of waste clothes recycling while advancing green construction practices.  Today Yongte has tested the WPC decking machine by using waste clothes material, and the testing is successful.

Technological Breakthrough in Waste Textile Utilization

The newly developed production line incorporates a specialized conical twin-screw extruder, precision molds, and 3D embossing technology, enabling seamless integration of recycled textile fibers with HDPE (high-density polyethylene) and waste clothes. 

The complete process tested as below:

1,  waste clothes being shredded, crushed, and converted into small clothes scrap 

2,  mixing the clothes scrap, HDPE plastic and Chemical additives as per Yongte's formulation which is specially developed for using clothes wastage. the clothes scrap content can be 70%.

3, Composition the mixture by special designed granulation machine equip with parallel twin screw extruder.

4, Extrusion the composited material by conical twin screw extruder and special designed WPC decking mold, 

5, Co-extrusion and online 3D embossing technology is suggested for making high quality WPC decking, so it will cover the uniform color of WPC core and increase the strength, and make the decking surface with wonderful wooden grain texture.

Looking ahead, Yongte plans to collaborate with waste management companies and construction firms to establish closed-loop recycling systems. The company is also developing customized solutions for large-scale textile waste generators, such as garment manufacturers and government uniform services, to further expand the application of this green technology.
