Project Background
Plastic film pollution has become a severe environmental problem across Africa, threatening urban sanitation, ecological balance and public health. To solve this challenge, Yongte’s parallel twin-screw extruder dedicated to waste plastic film recycling has been officially put into stable operation at our partner’s factory in Africa.
This core recycling equipment is tailor-made for processing waste PP and PE plastic films & bags. It integrates mature technology and reliable performance, fully matching the local plastic waste recycling demands.
Core Technical Specifications
We adopt a co-rotating parallel twin-screw structure with stable mechanical performance, perfectly adapting to harsh local working conditions:
- Screw diameter: 150mm
- Screw length: 3500mm
- Main material of screw & barrel: 38CrMoAIA with nitriding treatment (high strength, excellent wear resistance)
- Hourly output: 400 - 600 kg/h (stable continuous production)

- WPC Products: WPC decking, wall panels, fences and other wood-plastic composite products via WPC production lines.
On-site Service & Project Achievements
Yongte provided one-stop on-site services including equipment installation, commissioning and professional operator training for our African partner, ensuring workers master operation skills proficiently.
Since commissioning, the machine has run continuously and stably. Up to now, it has processed thousands of tons of waste plastic films, turning plastic waste into reusable resources. The project not only alleviates local plastic pollution, but also brings substantial economic benefits to the customer.
